OnPatriots Day this year, we took our boys, Annan and Malen, to the re-enactment of the battle of Lexington and Concord. Now let me tell you..this was an adventure!
Up at 3am and in Lexington on the Green at 4am. We were wrapped in the dark with a full moon and gobs of other patriotic peeps.
Now…I thought I would go to this event to further educate my little men about the history of our country, experience a new early morning hurrah and return home to relax the day away. This all happened but I was blown away by what I really took away from the early morning romp….FREEDOM. These gentlemen fought for us on that day for our freedom and it is our responsibility to continue fighting for freedom! I dig this and will do my best to do my part for myself and others.
